VW to launch upcoming campaign via iPhone
Volkswagen plan to launch their 2010 GTI campaign “Real Racing GTI” through a free iPhone app. The app is a game which allows users to race on a fictional track.
Registered races stand a chance to win one of 6 limited-edition GTIs.
Initially, the campaign will be available strictly through this platform; although users will be able to post certain elements from the races to Twitter and Facebook, with the additional option to rip videos which would hosted on YouTube.
