We did it!!
We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed as the strategic CRM partners for the shopping centre marketing specialists Primedia Lifestyle who are responsible for the marketing of Gateway Theatre of Shopping in Umhlanga. Based on feedback from the team it appears that our innovation and creativity is what really clinched the deal.
With a client that really understands the value of Customer Relationship Management, wanting to pursue the best of breed solutions for the mall experience, we are really excited about the road ahead. We will keep you posted! (Check out the projects side of our blog)
A big thank you to all of the team that supported me in this pitch… without you it would not have been possible. Now just to keep the shopaholic in me from spending my last cent every time I see our new client… Gateway is retail therapy heaven!
Even the idols joined Gateway Imagine!
Imagine. Gateway. Just more. Gateway’s Customer Relationship Programme went live on 4 December 2007. And so far we’ve been really happy with the numbers of people we’ve achieved during our acquisition drive. In a world first, Gateway has become one of the first shopping malls to use biometrics to sign-up people to a loyalty programme. Even the Idols finalists signed up today!
The aim of the programme is to acquire people to the Gateway programme and then interact and get to know more about them. By joining, they receive exclusive access to information, experiences, events and opportunities to connect with family and friends.
The project has also been quite challenging in terms of the integration of a Data Management Tool, bluetooth, biometrics, web and SMS to wapsites with synchronised data over all the channels.
The campaign ends the 15th of January and thereafter we will start the next phase of our campaign.
Vida e’Caffe has also partnered with us in a 2-for-1 coffee deal about which we are very excited.

Pitching Gateway
We were asked to pitch for CRM work for Primedia Lifestyle Company, who is responsible for the marketing at Gateway Theatre of Shopping, Umhlanga. What an awesome opportunity!
The team put together some sound strategic thinking, and some great creative ideas which Joshin and Isabel presented to the Gateway team yesterday.
Now,... the waiting game. We believe we’re up against one other CRM agency and will have to wait and see. However, we believe that we gave it our all. Now, it’s up to the client.
Working with Heineken in the UK
The Heineken global brand team recently approached us to assist them to develop a Consumer Engagement Model and associated campaign for 1-to-1 consumer engagement for the UK market. They were impressed with the work we did for BAT some years ago. We are very excited!
