Crowdsourcing a movie

13 April 2010. Casey Pugh, a former Boxee and Vimeo employee, conceptualized a shot-by-shot remake of Star Wars. Entitled Star Wars: Uncut, Pugh divided the movie into 15-second segments, then leaving the content for interested members to claim. Members had a certain time period in which to produce original content for the segments that they had claimed.
The movie has been selected into CPH: PIX, a Copenhagen film festival.
