Manfred Noriskin-Ender , Business Unit Director

After joining iKineo in early 2016 as a Strategic and Creative Consultant, Manfred’s business acumen and inherent people management skills quickly led to his appointment to Business Unit Director.

As a seasoned business executive and business partner, Manfred is heading up one of three specialist business units in the agency, which have been formed to better serve clients, refine employee roles and responsibilities best suited to individual strengths and interests, and to develop expert brand teams with in-depth understanding of specific client portfolios.

Over the past 27 years, Manfred has been synonymous with creative and strategic management and has built up his career across multiple industries, and both local and international brands. Some of the vast client experience in Noriskin-Ender’s portfolio includes amongst others; Telkom Business Connexion, FCA – Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Eskom, South African Airways, Multichoice – DStv, Vodacom, FNB, Diners Club International, Regent Insurance, World Leisure Holidays and Vodacom

Zonica Strydom, Operations Director

Those who have worked with Zonica talk highly of her work ethic, her friendly nature and her creative problem-solving abilities. She describes herself as an operations guru, a wife and mother.

Having built up her career in above- and below-the-line advertising over the past 11 years, Zonica has gained extensive experience in digital, print, design, production and overall operations.

She’s worked at iKineo since February 2011, starting out as a senior project/production manager, and in 2015 was promoted to Operations Director, heading up the ever-growing production team.

In 2013, Zonica received credit for a winning campaign – developed for Loom – at Loeries, South Africa’s most prestigious, creative awards festival. She was part of the iKineo team who brought home a craft certificate, a silver, a bronze and two gold Loeries across different categories that year.

The impressive portfolio of clients Zonica has worked on includes Red Bull, Volkswagen, Audi, Coca Cola, Cacadu, Coega, Eveready, NMMU, Continental, MTN, Telkom, Trudon, Ackermans, Nike, Hennessy and Ladbrokes.

Joshin Raghubar, Chairman & Founder

As founder and chairman of iKineo since 2000, Joshin has built up a reputation that has seen his business become synonymous with best-in-class CRM and customer engagement.

With more than a decade of Pan-African experience in the media, marketing, technology and telecommunications sectors, Joshin is now a seasoned entrepreneur and marketing leader.

Ambition and innovation are the two key driving forces behind Joshin’s success to date. He also intrinsically possesses a passion to create value by weaving together creative ideas, relationships, emerging trends, talented people, entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to action.

In fact, early on in his career, Joshin was extensively involved in the 2006 Soccer World Cup Bid, and he managed the Design Indaba, which is now one the world’s leading design conferences.

Joshin earned a Business Science (Honours) degree, majoring in Finance and Accounting, from the University of Cape Town, and a Masters in Development Studies (M.A) (Cum Laude) from the University of the Western Cape’s Institute for Social Development. This foundation helped shaped Joshin’s thinking, but it’s his natural aptitude for entrepreneurship that has led to iKineo being recognised as one of South Africa’s most promising entrepreneurial companies (Corporate Research Foundation).

Over the years, iKineo has attracted many multinational brands into its stable including the likes of Telkom, Fiat, Jeep, Chrysler, Jack Daniels, Eutelsat, SES, Moët and Chandon, Old Mutual, Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, Nokia, Heineken, MTN, and Cell C amongst others.

The agency is ultimately a CRM, direct and digital marketing agency, but it also acts as a new venture studio. It has successfully incubated Sprout, which is now South Africa’s leading digital media performance company, and Explore Sideways – the leading online purveyor of wine tourism experiences. This is testament to the business philosophy of ‘setting innovation in motion’.

Joshin is committed to making a positive contribution to society and he is interested in the evolving role of business in society. As such, he has the following roles over and above his duties at iKineo and Sprout;

  • Chairman of the Bandwidth Barn: Africa’s largest non-profit incubator and accelerator for technology businesses
  • Non-executive director of the Cape Innovation and Technology Initiative: the public/private sector agency tasked with development of the region as a technology and innovation cluster
  • Non-executive director of Enke: a non-profit organisation that works to empower youth to be successful innovators for social good in their communities
